The Buddha's Wine Global Children's Fund has been formed to manage the proceeds of the sale of Buddha's Wine in an efficient and transparent way.
| The Trust will have an advisory panel comprised of high-profile members of the wine industry and charitable organisations to oversee all operations. The proceeds of the Fund will be dispersed to nominated charitable projects that focus on the needs of the most disadvantaged of all groups in the global community, homeless and displaced children. Orphanages and child-care facilities to be sponsored will be selected by the advisory panel. Selection criteria will be principally based on need but also on the integrity of management.
The Trustee for the fund is Perpetual Trustee Company Limited. Independent auditors will ensure that all designated proceeds from the sale of the wine are placed into the Fund and the distribution of funds is in accord with the Deed of Trust. The Buddha's Wine website will give detailed information regarding the state of the Trust and distributions.
