"As a single parent, I find it very difficult for my son to grow up like any other child in a normal family. I overheard my son's conversation with his teddy bear one night when he was only three years old.
"Bear-bear, why do all of Brian's friends have mums and dads while Brian only has a dad?"

| "I was left speechless and heartbroken. It triggered my deepest sympathy for children who do not have families, and made me question how I can help/contribute in my own small way. I believe an orphan is innocent and deserves just as much hope and attention as anyone else in this world, it's just that most of them have not been blessed with the opportunity."
Growing up in a Buddhist family, Hendra has admired the teaching of Buddha since he was a small boy. Together with his heartfelt sympathy for children, Buddha's Wine was created.
"I implore people who enjoy good wine and good company to make a difference for the unfortunate children. With every bottle purchase of Buddha's wine, fifty cents will be donated to orphanages through the Buddha's Wine Global Children's Fund. Let's bring hope for a brighter future for the children."
